Android File Transfer is Google’s solution to transferring files to Mac OS. Unfortunately, it comes with a lot of limitations and errors that will keep users away from successfully storing their files on a different device.
MacDroid ensures that you will no longer see “Android file transfer can't access device storage” again. More than this, MacDroid offers users more features than Android File Transfer.
Unlike its competitors, MacDroid was built with ease of access in mind. Simply install the application, connect your phone to your Macbook and use the Finder to find your device. It’s easy as that!
MacDroid also enables users to directly transfer entire folders directly to their Mac device without the need of individually copying over the files.
Even older devices can benefit from MacDroid due to the fact that it natively supports MTP (Media Transfer Protocol) which ensures you can copy over your files and store them. Even if they are not made by Nokia.
MacDroid also supports a Bluetooth connection. Even if you do not have a cable, you can rely on this connection to transfer data wirelessly to and from your phone. Make sure your phone is discoverable and connect it to your Macbook from the Bluetooth menu. After they are paired, you can check the MacDroid app to transfer files as you wish.
We offer support for all of the latest Nokia models that were released in the past years. There is no need for updates or workarounds, MacDroid simply just works. Here is a list of some of the supported models:
MacDroid PRO subscription can be used on up to 5 Macs you own (you won’t be charged additionally for installing MacDroid PRO on each of these Macs).
The number of Android and MTP devices you connect and transfer data to or from is not limited.
